Nikki & Guy 02.11.19

Mr & Mrs Dein had the most amazing wedding at Sails Port Macquarie.

I had actucally met the couple at another wedding I styled and was rapt that they liked my work and asked me to style their day for them. Nikki was so trusting and just allowed me to do my job, they were a breeze to work with and it shows in their photos, how truly happy and in love they are.

They were the lucky first to have our Mr & Mrs Neon, which was set off beautifully by the arbour flowers that Wauchope Colonial Florist had created. (I always like to reuse arbour flowers somewhere as it is a big expense for the shortest time) and had the stunning greenery chandelier over their dancefloor.

What made it more special for me, was running into the happy couple in the foyer the next day and they stopped me to gush over how beautiful the ballroom looked and how many compliments they had gotten from their friends and family. it is so gratifying to know your hard work is appreciated!

Sasha & Ben 06.10.19

Sasha & Ben contacted us about styling their wedding at Little Fish Café at Lake Innes Vineyard and we jumped at the chance to work at this stunning location.

The brief was casual/cocktail style with a hint of soft romance. Classic style is always a favourite as it will never date. Lots of gorgeous fresh flowers in white, with lots of greenery and texture. Hypericum Berries were the star, amongst white lisianthus and chrysanthemums.

We used a dusty pink, flowing runner for extra volume and romance and the copper fairy lights were a hit for the outdoor party as the sun went down and they illuminated the centrepieces while the happy couple danced under the festoons.

Thank you for choosing us to style your day Sasha & Ben

BCCU Launch

I was contacted by the PR manager of BCCU to style their launch party at Rydges Port Macquarie. The brief was white orchids and plenty of fairy lights. Add in some seating pods, bar tables and our carbon bar stools and you have an amazing room to present to your guests.

This was our first wedding since starting Queen Bee Styling and we were very honoured that Shirlene and Wayne took a leap of faith and entrusted us. The theme was “Soft Romance” and we styled the ceremony on Oxley Beach using a tree as a natural arbour with soft flowing fabric ,beautiful hanging lanterns and vases of fresh flowers supplied by The Botanic Merchant. The touching ceremony was performed by Margot Smith.

The Zebu Room at Rydges Port Macquarie came up a treat, styled with one long banquet table and a stunning strip centrepiece, adorned with fresh greenery, vases of fresh flowers and candle galore.

Paige & Luke 04.11.18

What a wedding! Paige & Luke feature as our very first Sails wedding and started the success of our amazing round Arbour with florals created by our head creative – Jacqui . The gorgeous couple were married on The Point by Erica Nelson. As the bridal party went out on various locations for a photographic session, guests were treated to a lovely afternoon on the lawn with our lawn games whilst they sipped on drinks and nibbled on gourmet grazing platters catered by Sails.

Paige and Luke capped off the night by celebrating in the Pavilion area which was decked out with our gorgeous seating pods and relocated arbour to make a backdrop. The greenery chandelier in the centre of the dancefloor was a gorgeous centrepiece, which added a little extra to the already beautiful event space.

Sophie & Nick 06.01.19

Sophie and Nick were married on a beautiful balmy summer afternoon in the stunning natural gardens of Roto House. Our Timber Arbour and Benches made a feature with florals created by Sweet as Jasmine Floral Design. The very talented Jake Davey played their songs in his acoustic style as they were married by Angie Jackson

Their reception followed afterwards in the function room at Westport Club, overlooking the beautiful Hastings River. Sophie had made her own centrepieces and just required some help to pull her whole theme together, so we added some touches of Blush pink as chair ties and table runners and added a gorgeous fairy light backdrop as a feature behind their bridal table.

All captured by the amazing Elizabeth from Spriel Photographic as seen in these photos.

Jeff & Katie 23.02.19

Jeff and Katie were an absolute dream to work with, their wedding worked out so beautifully on the lawn at Sails. With rain all morning, our team were uncertain of where we were setting up until the last minute. It was a miracle that it didn’t rain for the ceremony performed by the amazing Margot Smith.

The beautiful Australian natives were created by Wauchope Colonial Florist and graced the arbour as well as table centrepieces.

The highlight for us as a team, was the couple coming to personally thanks us as we were packing down the next day. Its so nice to have the glowing couple gush over how perfect their day was. Thank you Jeff and Katie for allowing us to style your beautiful wedding.
